FINDING THE CURRENT TO REACH FOR THE SURFACE
What’s the story of Vök? In the spring of 2016 I started documenting this Icelandic band. Following them at home in Reykjavík and Hafnarfjördur,
I joined them in the studio and on tour abroad and back home at Iceland Airwaves Festival. Capturing the soul of their songs.
I feel their music when I walk around in the streets of Reykjavík, or out in the rough and empty landscapes.
Studio Pino made the artwork for the project. With the project I graduated from the Fotoacademie.
